Bridging the Generation Gap is an outreach club that “bridges the gap” between young people and the elderly.

This club encourages kindness, cooperation, friendship, and communication between the generations. The mission of the club is to create and atmosphere that allows children and teenagers to interact with the elderly on a monthly basis. This interaction creates awareness and a sympathetic understanding of the aging process.

The attention that the young “buddies” give to the senior members in club, and the enthusiastic response from the seniors, makes all of the members in the club feel important and loved. The impact that this club has on its participants is unique and heart warming.
